A Weekend Away

What a shame it is that we as full time residents of a wonderful beautiful mountain town, such as Downieville, have to look forward to getting out of town one weekend a year as our town descends into a Sodom and Gomorrah. Foul language and absolute drunkenness abound while we as those living here are made to put up with all of this because as law enforcement says “it’s all legal.” When are we going to say enough is enough and do what many other nice towns have already done and not welcome these dredges of humanity to our picturesque, fantastic small town.
Lets stop inviting them here year after year and having to listen to all the foul words and very low end frat initiation practices, yelling and demeaning words that they represent as a group.
