Sierra County Fire and Ambulance services respond to various emergencies and conduct training throughout the week.

WESTERN SIERRA COUNTY

Monday, October 21

  • Downieville Fire was requested for a Public Assist.

  • Pliocene Ride CSD (Alleghany and Pike) canceled training.

Tuesday, October 22

  • Downieville Fire & Ambulance were requested for an ill person. Patient transported to hospital.

Wednesday, October 23

  • Downieville Fire & Ambulance were requested for an injured mountain biker. Patient transported to hospital.

  • Sierra City Fire canceled training.

  • Sierra City was requested to locate a missing person. The person was found safe and unharmed.

Thursday, October 24

  • Downieville EMS held a recertification class for all EMS.

  • Downieville fire was requested for a Public Assist.

Friday, October 25

  • Sierra City Fire and Alleghany Fire were requested for a wilderness fire. All were canceled.
