The Blairsden Farmers Market is once again open for the season! On June 18th, food and live music accompanied a variety of vendors. Along with local coffee roaster Ryan Laskowski’s coffee company, “Simply Roots,” there was also local honey from “Lost Sierra Honey Company,” as well as organic wines that have won double gold medals from the Grant Marie Vineyard and Winery, offering samples and options to join their wine club.

Farmer Jon McCormick of “Sasquatch Farms,” was selling fresh vegetables and farm-fresh eggs, and a wide variety of CBD products. “Whitney Farms,” was selling fresh produce, and “Bradley Grass Fed Beef,” had various meat cuts for purchase.

Callie from “Harvey Farms,” was there with premium wool for sale and marketing Carmen Creek dairy. She has started a raw milk program for residents in Sierra Valley and surrounding areas selling fresh, 100% raw jersey milk by the gallon, half-gallon, or quarts. Judith and John Porep-Lulli, owners of “Plumas Crafts,” showed a variety of original rustic furniture designs. It was a beautiful day, and we encourage people to come and support local businesses, while enjoying the festivities every Sunday from 10AM-2PM.
