It’s happening again this year. The PAC (Professional Artists and Crafters) craft fair marketplace is coming to Graeagle on August 19th and 20th. This is not your usual commercial experience. These craftspeople will offer handmade, original items
for sale. There will be about 50 of them exhibiting their wares in the grassy park in downtown Graeagle. Photography, jewelry, gourmet foods, and wood art will be just some of the offerings available at bargain prices. Besides the arts and crafts, there will be food and beverage vendors and live music. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday. One of the favorite vendors is Tim Buckhout’s famous Porta-Saloon. Tim sells a lot of beer but doesn’t
put a dime in his own pocket. All of the proceeds are donated to non-profits, especially to benefit the restoration efforts at White Sulphur Springs Ranch in Clio. There will be a raffle at the end of the day on Sunday. Items donated by the vendors will
be raffled off, with the proceeds also going to local non-profit organizations. For more information, go to the website www.professionalartistsandcrafters.comThe Porta-Saloon shown here with Tom Cooley, former mayor of Portola, CA, along with Tim Buckhout in his bartender outfit.
