Downieville Classic Road & Trail Closures

The following road closures and No Parking will take place:

• Downieville Community Hall parking lot: Thursday, July 11, 2024 10:00 a.m. through Sunday, July 14, 2024 7:00 p.m. Entertainment Stage set-up in the parking area. Handicapped parking to be relocated to the front of the Community Hall.

• Main Street, Downieville from the intersection of Highway 49 to Community Hall, including the Community Hall parking lot: Thursday, July 11, 2024; traffic control and restricted parking begin at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., complete closure from 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Emergency access shall be available at all times. No set up of booths or other items shall block access to White Way.

• Maiden Lane, Downieville: Thursday, July 11, 2024; traffic control and restricted parking begin at 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2024. Complete closure on Saturday July 13, 2024, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Complete closure Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Emergency access shall be available at all times.

• Pearl Street, Downieville: Local resident access only on Saturday, July 13, 2024, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Local resident access only on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Single side of the street parking is enforced to allow Emergency access at all times. Narrow areas near Hansen Bridge will be coned off to prevent parking at pinch points.

• Sierra County Park, Downieville: Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. for expo and vendors, public access shall be available at all times.

• Butte Street, Sierra Buttes Road: Saturday, July 13, 2024 open to local traffic from 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., complete closure from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

• Castagnea Alley: Saturday, July 13, 2024, open to local traffic from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., complete closure from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

• Lavezzola Road: Saturday, July 13, 2024, complete closure from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Upper Main Street, Hansen Bridge to Lavezzola Road, Downieville: Saturday, July 13, 2024 complete closure from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 14, 2024, complete closure from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Upper Main Street, School Street to Hansen Bridge, Downieville: Saturday, July 13, 2024, complete closure from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, July 14, 2024, complete closure from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Downieville (Parking lot behind Yuba Expeditions): Closed for Outdoor Demo Event, Thursday, July 11, 2024, 8:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 14, 2024, 7:00 p.m. Emergency access shall be available at all times.

• Sierra City Park (The Flats): Closed for Event Parking Friday, July 12, 2024, 8:00 p.m. to Saturday, July 13, 2024, 4:00 p.m.

The following trail closures and right-of-way encroachments will take place:

• Butcher Ranch, Pauley Creek, Big Boulder, Third Divide, and First Divide Trails: Saturday, July 13, 2024 complete closure from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Butcher Ranch, Pauley Creek, Big Boulder, Third Divide, and First Divide Trails: Sunday, July 14, 2024 complete closure from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
