Downieville Regular Gil Clark Reported Missing

DOWNIEVILLE — The Sierra County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance locating Gil Clark, a Goodyears Bar local who was reported missing on the morning of Thursday, August 14. Clark is a 78-year-old white male, 5 feet 11 inches with gray hair, and was last seen in Downieville on August 5 or 6 after being dropped off by a friend. Since then, no sightings or contacts have been confirmed.

The Sheriff’s Office says that concerned citizens contacted the office earlier this week regarding Clark’s whereabouts, after which deputies contacted his known friends and family. None had information on Clark’s current location. Clark was known to be in Downieville frequently.
