Holiday on Main Planning Meeting Set for September

DOWNIEVILLE — If you love Christmas time as we do, please come to our planning meeting for HOLIDAY ON MAIN, which will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in the Community Hall. We welcome all local residents, businesses, and organizations to help us make this event the best ever! We would love to see other events added to this weekend to create a full, jolly time for all. Your input and ideas are valuable, and we’d like you to share them. If you have an event you’d like to include, please come and share it with us.

This year, Teresa Taylor will be the chairperson, and Karen Galan will be the co-chairperson. In order to make this a great success, we’ll need many volunteers to help advertise, decorate, set up tables, be available during the event to help, and to clean up.

Last year’s Holiday on Main was a huge success, with many crafters selling their beautiful handmade wares in the Community Hall, as well as in Sabrina’s Cafe, not to mention the children’s holiday show, dessert auction, and tree lighting. All local businesses were open and enjoyed the influx of visitors in town.

The Holiday on Main craft fair will be held on December 5, 2026, at 10 AM in the Community Hall. We hope to create a full schedule for all to enjoy!

Please consider joining us; light refreshments will be served, and maybe you’ll even meet a man from the North Pole and some new neighbors.
