Medical Facilities Closed in Grass Valley

Negotiations between YubaDocs, a provider of urgent medical care in Grass Valley for the past 23 years, and Dignity Health/Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital (SNMH) broke down earlier this month. Thus, YubaDocs is being closed permanently and delays for ER service at SNMH are expected.

Meanwhile, the Urology Clinic established in 1996 on Margaret Lane in Grass Valley, the only such facility serving Nevada and Sierra, acquired by SNMH four years ago, has been slated for closure by the end of June. As a result, five employees will lose their jobs, and existing patients will need to locate an alternative provider in some distant location.
