Melvin Dennis Teague

Melvin Dennis Teague, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026.

Born April 5, 1946, in San Francisco, California, to Clarence and Evelyn (Cooper) Teague, Melvin lived a life built around hard work, family, adventure, and helping others.

Melvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Lee Teague; his brother, Jack Marshall; his stepson, Greg West; and his grandson, Shawn White. He is survived by his son, Joe Evinger; stepdaughter, Caralee Terry; grandchildren, Suzanna Guetebier and Sarah Sanburn; brothers, Ernie Teague and David Marshall; and many other family members and loved ones.

A proud veteran and lifelong hard worker, Melvin worked in a lumber yard, spent time underwater logging at Bullards Bar Reservoir, and later worked with Miwall, traveling to gun shows and helping prepare, transport, and sell their products.

Melvin loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, barbecues, working in his garage, fixing trucks, building things, and anything with wheels that could go fast. Some of his happiest memories were made with family while fishing, camping, riding quads and go-karts, and sharing adventures together. He also loved his dogs and chickens, fresh eggs, fruit trees, good movies, old-fashioned music, and an occasional beer.

Melvin believed in working hard, learning a trade, helping others, and making memories with the people he loved. His greatest legacy will live on through the lessons he taught, the traditions he created, and the memories he left behind.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
