On Voting and Candidates

Dear Editor,

As a proud Republican since 1986, I feel all elections are critical, particularly Primary elections. I joined the Gold Nugget Republican Women Federated Club, which is chartered by the California Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women, in 2012. As a Republican woman, I am always excited to be actively involved during elections in supporting and getting Republican candidates elected to our local, state and national offices. That is the mission and objective of the Republican Women Federated. We should all strive to be engaged and actively involved in this process.

It is very important that you vote because some of the seats in some of the races will be determined on March 5th. Please don’t think that your vote does not count, because it really does!

I am urging you to vote for Kevin Kiley, the Republican candidate for Congressional District 3, and David Garner, the Republican candidate for Sierra County Superior Court Judge. These two outstanding men are the best qualified candidates to continue to protect justice in Sierra County, the state of California, and the United States of America.
