Reflecting on Sierra City Events

Dear Readers,

We are happy to share that the three fall events in Sierra City were a success! As many people know, Sierra City hosts three late-season events that are fun, offer a variety of things to do, meet new people, and enjoy the sense of community that Sierra City has. They are also instrumental in allowing us to give back to important volunteer service organizations in our city.

We would like to take a moment to recognize the hard work and support of Sierra City residents and business owners, residents and business owners from neighboring communities, and visitors to our area for coming out and joining us at these events. Your efforts to donate resources, volunteer to help, and allow us to make meaningful contributions to the Sierra City Volunteer Fire Department.

The Big City Rod Car Show on September 16th raised $592; the Wine in the Woods on September 30th raised $1317; and Oktoberfest raised $1968—nearly $3900 in donations to the SCVFD, a group of hard-working volunteers who keep us safe.

Thank you for supporting fall gatherings!
