A Forest Service Battalion Chief, Sierra County Deputy, and Forest Service law enforcement officer all determined that the fire was compliant with current regulations and that no crime had been committed.
20:51 - A driver was stopped on Highway 89 south of Sierraville for potentially driving impaired. Highway Patrol determined the driver was not intoxicated.
