Tuesday, June 27 08:01 - A burglary alarm was reported sounding in Downieville. 08:05 - Near Church Street in Loyalton, a fire alarm was sounding as the result of a low battery. 13:42 - A probation search was conducted near Hill Street in Loyalton. 19:44 - A welfare check was requested in Sierraville but later canceled by the reporting party. 23:13 - Agency assistance was requested to remove a tire from HWY 395 near the Nevada border. Wednesday, June 28 01:14 - A 911 call with static on the line came from Sierra City. 08:44 - There was a report of a reckless driver on HWY 49 between Loyalton and Sierraville. 12:29 - Near Gold Bluff Road in Downieville, a bear was being problematic. 18:04 - Near Indian Valley Outpost, an individual was missing in the forest. A CHP helicopter was able to locate the individual and deputies were able to rescue and return him to his family. 18:38 - An accident involving a vehicle and a bear was reported near Cold Creek Campground. 23:20 - CHP notified the Sheriff’s office to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a shooting in Nevada. Thursday, June 29 03:21 - In Sattley, about 20 bovines escaped onto HWY 89. The deputy was unable to locate the 20 bovines. 09:23 - Over in Sierraville, a homeowner accidentally activated their own burglary alarm. 10:20 - On Hill Street in Loyalton, there was an unresponsive female. 11:51 - At the courthouse in Downieville, some painters accidentally activated a distress alarm. 12:36 - A theft was reported from the Lower Little Truckee Campground. 12:52 - The Smithneck dogs ran away again but were eventually reunited with their owner. 13:12 - Near Calpine, there was a request for help to get pulled from the snow. The caller declined assistance. 16:49 - An ambulance was requested in Sierra City on Wild Plum Road. 19:30 - Someone was arrested in Nevada for an outstanding Sierra County warrant for grand theft. 21:44 - A vehicle was stuck in the forest with a deputy and CHP assisting to get it out safely. Friday, June 30 09:32 - In Loyalton, there was a report of vandalism. 11:45 - Deputy Fadden reported negative service in Loyalton near Beckwith Street. 12:37 - Outside of Loyalton, a truck and trailer were found abandoned in the forest. The USFS was notified. 13:07 - A welfare check was requested for some campers at the Gold Lake Campground. The campers were safe. 13:21 - A civil dispute was reported over a campsite reservation at Gold Lake Campground. 13:27 - In Graeagle, there was a report of harassment over the phone. 13:42 - There was a request in Loyalton to have a deputy sign a correctable traffic citation. 14:52 - Lift assistance was needed on Hill Street in Loyalton. 17:17 - An ambulance was requested at Webber Lake Campground. 20:49 - There was a report of target shooting in the forest near Loyalton. 22:28 - A property check was requested in Loyalton. 22:35 - There was a request for assistance in Lassen County. Before deputies were able to get to the scene, the request was canceled. Saturday, July 1 08:28 - Near Reno, there was a report of a vehicle submerged in water. Appropriate county was notified. 11:18 - In Sierraville, a traffic citation was issued for unsafe passing. 13:15 - There was a report of a parking problem in Downieville. 13:22 - There was a report of a juvenile issue at Campbell Hot Springs. 13:33 - An ambulance was requested in Sierraville. 13:45 - A fire radio was found near Wild Plum Road in Sierra City. The fire was stopped. 11:23 - There was a report of threatening messages to a family member in Sierra City. 11:30 - There was a burn pile at the Loyalton Transfer site. 12:36 - There was a report of parking issues at Sand Pond. 12:42 - The USFS requested assistance from deputies in finding a drone in a fire area. 14:36 - There was a report of an overdue party at the Wild Plum Campground.
