16:29 - Two individuals were rescued after being stuck in snow near Chimney Rock Trail.

19:19 - A vehicle was stuck in a ditch near Sierra City. A deputy was able to find the driver and provided a ride to Truckee.

19:35 - There was a report of someone driving while possibly intoxicated near Sierraville.

21:23 - An ambulance was needed in Sierraville.

Tuesday, July 4

03:06 - Lift assistance was needed on Hill Street in Loyalton.

07:35 - A vehicle was damaged by a bear at Sierra Pines Resort.

11:31 - In Pike City, there was a 911 hang up.

12:29 - Some dogs were hitchhiking on HWY 49 near the Lure.

14:36 - There was a suspicious vehicle in the Downieville grocery store parking lot.

14:46 - Someone accidentally dialed 911 from Stampede Reservoir.

16:36 - Agency assistance was requested from Truckee.

16:38 - A vehicle was stolen from Loyalton. CHP was provided details of the theft.

19:44 - A wallet was lost in Downieville.

19:58 - There was a report of an assault in Loyalton.

20:46 - An ambulance was needed on Antelope Valley Road in Loyalton.

20:57 - Another ambulance was needed in Loyalton over on Court Lane.

21:13 - A threat was reported from Sierraville. Deputies tried to contact the reporting party but were unable to locate them.

22:05 - Some loud music was supposedly coming from Patterson Avenue in Loyalton but the deputy was unable to hear the music.

23:34 - A bear was reportedly celebrating the Fourth of July on Main Street in Downieville.

Wednesday, July 5

06:44 - A fox was having seizures on Main Street in Alleghany. Fish and Wildlife was notified.

07:02 - There was a report of illegal dumping on Commercial Street in Downieville. The items were taken to the transfer station.

07:08 - A terrier took off from Commercial Street in Downieville.

10:23 - A citizen requested a sign off on a correctable citation in Loyalton.

12:32 - A hit and run took place in Downieville at Hansen Bridge. CHP was notified.

12:43 - A Sysco truck was repeatedly causing a traffic hazard on Main Street in Downieville.

14:39 - A welfare check was requested for an overdue party at Sardine Lake Campground. The overdue party contacted the Sheriff’s Office.

15:00 - A civil service was requested on Third Street in Loyalton.

16:04 - An ambulance was requested on Longhorn Drive in Loyalton. The patient refused medical attention.

19:07 - In Sierraville, there was a report of a reckless driver. Deputies found the individual and there were no violations.

Thursday, July 6

04:31 - There was a report of a possible endangered individual from a crisis line. There was not enough information provided about the caller who was possibly out of the county. A response was not sent.

11:56 - An ambulance was requested in Downieville.

13:26 - There was a report of a person possibly drunk in public in Loyalton.

14:48 - A horse was found wandering the neighborhood on West Sierra Brooks Drive in Loyalton.

16:46 - There was a request for agency assistance in locating a missing subject who was possibly in Sierra County. A deputy was unable to locate the subject and a few hours later the subject was found by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.

17:26 - A vehicle was abandoned near Downieville in the forest. The USFS was notified.

21:08 - A reporting party provided information on the whereabouts of another individual.

Friday, July 7

02:37 - In Loyalton, on Lewis Lane, an ambulance was requested.

10:22 - Some missing juveniles from Plumas County were located and transferred back to Plumas County.

14:19 - Plumas County Sheriff’s Office reported an open 911 line within Sierra County.

14:47 - There was a CPS report.

15:02 - In Verdi, a homeowner interrupted an active burglary at the owner's residence. The suspect fled. A deputy made contact with the homeowner.

16:17 - A 911 request for information was made about an open investigation.

16:23 - In Verdi, a driver was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license.

16:52 - A wallet was found in Downieville. The owner was located and the wallet was returned.

17:33 - A non-injury motorcycle accident happened near Goodyears Bar. CHP handled the incident.

20:46 - Some smelly skunks were deceased on Hill Street in Loyalton.

22:37 - In Chilcoot, there was a report of a possible sexual assault. Lassen County was provided all of the information and will be contacting the reporting party.

Saturday, July 8

08:12 - There were some pesky illegal campers in Downieville at Two Rivers.

09:45 - Someone was arrested on an outstanding Sierra County warrant.

12:33 - A trailer was abandoned in Verdi.

13:43 - Some gasoline was stolen in Downieville.

15:13 - There was a report of a vegetation fire just over the California/Nevada state line.

16:02 - A civil standby was requested in Loyalton.

16:28 - There was a report of a low flying aircraft and a gun being shot as it flew by in Pike City.

18:50 - There was a report of a missing person at Gold Lake Campground.

19:52 - In Downieville, someone was driving recklessly on Main Street.

21:24 - An ambulance was needed in Loyalton on Third Street.

23:52 - The Sheriff’s Office came upon a vehicle that crashed into a ditch out of the county. The driver was not injured and CHP was notified.

Sunday, July 9

00:06 - In Verdi, some hazardous materials were found near an abandoned vehicle.

05:57 - A burglary was reported at a residence out of the county. The caller will be notifying the correct local agency.

09:14 - Some money was stolen in Verdi.

10:23 - Agency assistance was needed at Stampede Reservoir.

11:28 - There was a 911 hangup in Pike City. A deputy made contact and everyone was fine.

13:45 - There was a parking issue next to the Firehouse in Downieville.

14:10 - Someone was blocking the roadway near Camptonville while cutting firewood.

15:03 - Some motorists were disturbing the peace in Sierraville.

15:33 - In Goodyears Bar, a cell phone was found and turned into the Sheriff’s Office.

15:57 - A vehicle was possibly stolen from Sierra County.

17:49 - The Sheriff’s Office was contacted to document a civil dispute.

18:03 - Some threats were made in Verdi.

19:00 - In Sierra City, someone accidentally dialed 911.
