14:26 - An accidental 911 was placed from Galloway Street in Downieville.

15:08 - There was a report of a possible fraud crime being committed on a residence in Sierra City on Patricia Lane.

15:17 - A 911 call for medical was placed from Loyalton.

15:22 - An emergency GPS was activated for an injured subject at the Chapman Creek Campground in Sierra City. The Sierra City Fire and Downieville Ambulance were dispatched.

16:12 - A civil issue involving harassment was reported in Loyalton on Hill Street.

14:05 - There was a report of theft at Sand Shed in Sierra City.

14:22 - An individual was hoisted out and taken by flight to Tahoe Forest Hospital from Haskell Peak.

15:02 - There was a report of theft at an Airbnb in Downieville.

17:13 - The Sheriff’s Office conducted a transport to the residence of and for an inmate who was released by court order.

18:30 - There was a report of an injured deer at Ladys Canyon. Later it was discovered to be a newborn fawn and it was not injured.

18:54 - At Powerhouse Dam a citizen requested assistance getting up a hill after walking down. Before anyone could arrive, the individual was able to get to a vehicle and drive out.

20:25 - A medical alert sounded accidentally on Alleghany Street in Loyalton.

21:12 - A suspicious person called the Sheriff’s Office and was very difficult to understand. The person wanted to know if the office was open 24/7 and then ended the call.

Wednesday, July 19

10:21 - A propane company was conducting tank burn offs at Loyalton High School.

10:35 - There was a report of a restraining order violation on Gold Lake Road but it was out of Sierra County’s jurisdiction.

13:09 - There was a report of vehicular assault at Sierra City Transfer Station.

15:11 - Someone requested a restraining order due to name calling.

16:16 - A citizen complained about someone driving with a suspended license.

16:29 - On Roundup Drive in Loyalton, there was a report of vandalism and theft.

17:18 - There was a possible drunk driver headed to Sparks, Nevada from Sierraville.

17:41 - A lost dog was possibly found at Indian Valley near Camptonville.

22:31 - There was a juvenile problem in the roadway near Third Street in Loyalton.

22:58 - An ambulance was needed on W. Willow Street in Sierraville.

23:17 - The Sheriff’s Office provided directions to a citizen lost on A23 near Sattley.

Thursday, July 20

00:50 - Two individuals were arrested in Downieville for being drunk in public.

08:15 - An individual with mental health issues was harassing a county office.

11:22 - A Sierra County deputy provided transport of subjects who had been arrested back to Sierra County from Nevada County.

11:33 - There was a drug issue on Church Street in Loyalton.

13:01 - An abandoned vehicle was reported in the woods near Verdi.

16:56 - CalTrans cleared a large rockslide on HWY 49 near mile marker 24.88.

20:40 - There was a report of a suspicious vehicle following the reporting party on southbound HWY 49 and county line.

Friday, July 21

10:10 - There was a parking problem in Loyalton and the vehicle was taken by Crescent Tow.

10:38 - In Sierra City near Patricia Lane, some juveniles were walking around with BB guns.

11:20 - A civil service was done on Coca Cola Avenue in Goodyears Bar.

12:22 - There was a fraud report in Loyalton.

14:22 - There was a report of a vegetation fire. The fire was in Nevada County.

14:56 - An outside agency reported receiving an open 911 call from within Sierra County.

16:00 - Sierra County deputies and Probation conducted a probation search.

18:37 - There was a report of a boil water issue at Treasure Mountain Campground. The Sierra County Environmental Health Department was in contact with California Public Health.

19:35 - Someone turned themselves in at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on a court commit.

23:04 - A 911 call was placed for fireworks in the forest.

Saturday, July 22

07:21 - There was a parking problem at the Community Hall parking lot in Downieville. The owner was contacted and moved the vehicle.

07:27 - A Boston Terrier was found on River Street in Downieville.

08:34 - An ambulance was needed in Loyalton.

09:07 - A vehicle was reported abandoned near Verdi. The USFS was notified.

10:26 - There was a report of a possible bloody hammer being disposed of in a dumpster at the Cal Ida Campground.

13:43 - A family of four needed assistance in Sattley. A deputy assisted the family with getting back on the road.

13:57 - Some mountain bikers were reportedly drinking and riding their bikes in the courthouse parking lot.

14:03 - A citizen complained about a driver with an obstructed view in Sierraville. A deputy issued a citation.

14:59 - An accidental 911 was placed from Loyalton.

18:13 - An ambulance was needed on Main Street in Loyalton.

18:26 - A traffic stop was conducted on a reckless driver. After some tests, the driver was found not impaired.

19:28 - In Loyalton, someone was arrested for drugs.

19:48 - In Goodyears Bar, someone was arrested for driving under the influence.

20:09 - A citizen warned of an altercation to take place in Downieville at a later time.

20:11 - An individual who was lost on back roads in both Yuba and Sierra Counties was assisted and turned in the direction of home.

20:58 - In Downieville, there was a report of an overdue biker. The biker was found safe.

21:50 - There was a report of an overdue party in Western Sierra County. The party was located and found to be safe.
