Monday, March 20 00:02 - Someone was shooting off fireworks in Calpine. 13:01 - At the Information Center in Sierraville, a kiosk was damaged by an unknown object. 13:28 - There was an accidental 911 call from Ponta Ranch Road in Downieville. 14:20 - On Dog Valley Road in Verdi, there was an abandoned vehicle. The owner was able to return to retrieve the vehicle. 19:05 - An ambulance was needed in Downieville. Tuesday, March 21 07:15 - A dog was loose at the Downieville Post Office. The pup was returned to their owner. 17:24 - An ambulance was requested in Calpine off of HWY 89. 17:47 - On Pinto Trail in Loyalton, someone’s generator was too loud. Typically, generators are a bit noisy. 19:28 - Someone involved in an assault in Lassen County was located in Loyalton. Lassen County Deputies responded and apprehended the individual. 19:35 - Near the water treatment plant in Loyalton, a juvenile was seen dressed in camo, with a ski mask on and carrying a rifle. The responding deputy was unable to locate the individual. 22:01 - From Goodyears Bar, there was a 911 call with static on the line. This is an ongoing issue due to water on the lines. Wednesday, March 22 09:49 - There was a successful civil service on Main Street in Alleghany. 10:05 - There was a mandated notification from CPS about possible child neglect in Loyalton. 12:07 - Sierra County Probation was requested to assist with an intoxication issue off of Beckwith Street in Loyalton. 14:18 - Citizens assistance was provided in Downieville off of Maiden Lane. Thursday, March 23 01:11 - A welfare check was requested for a stranded motorist on HWY 89 near Cottonwood Road in Sierraville. CHP was notified but unable to find the stranded motorist. 08:00 - A boulder was partially blocking HWY 49 at Logger Beer near Downieville. CalTrans was notired. 08:20 - Someone was arrested on Wrangler Drive in Loyalton for violating a restraining order. 11:36 - In Downieville off of River Street, someone was arrested for contempt of court, under the influence and possession. All of which were probation violations. 15:49 - On Deerwater Drive in Verdi, there was a report of an internet scam and theft 23:39 - On eastbound I-80, an individual requested medical and law enforcement. When CHP arrived on the scene, the vehicle sped off and then Nevada State Police pursued the individuals in Washoe County. The vehicle returned to California and was eventually pulled over and arrested out of county. Toad’s wild ride. Friday, March 24 00:56 - The 911 static line from Goodyears Bar was acting up again. 10:31 - There was a 911 hang up from Alleghany, 11:16 - A vehicle rolled over on Marysville Road and Indiana Ranch Road. CHP was notified. 14:45 - In Downieville, a deputy was requested to sign off on a fix it ticket. 16:35 - A dog was wandering Commercial Street in Downieville. The dog was eventually reunited with its owner. 20:17 - At the Ag Station on HWY 395, two people were arrested. One was arrested for driving under the influence and the other was arrested on drug charges and violating a restraining order. Saturday, March 25 09:53 - At the Campbell Hot Springs, a deputy was requested to sign off on a fix it ticket. 16:39 - There was a welfare check for an overdue party in Sierra City. The party was contacted and they were okay. 17:23 - Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested on HIll Street in Loyalton. 20:22 - There was an accidental 911 call from West Sierra Brooks Drive in Loyalton. Sunday, March 26 11:19 - A dog fell in the river at Carvin Creek Campground, east of Bassetts. The dog was safely returned to the owner. 13:06 - There was a juvenile issue in Loyalton. 14:30 - At the Sierraville School, a citizen requested assistance from a deputy for a snow park permit. 15:07 - At HWY 89 and Old Truckee Road, someone was cited for carrying a concealed weapon violation during a traffic stop. 15:54 - An inmate was transferred from Plumas County Jail to Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. 16:43 - A vehicle was broken down on Campbell Hot Springs Road in Sierraville. A tow truck was called for the individual. 19:25 - A dog was found in Loyalton and returned to their person. 21:18 - Two individuals were stuck in the snow on Dog Valley Road near Verdi.
