Monday, April 10 - 09:08 - In Loyalton, there was a report of an injured deer. 10:04 - A controlled burn at the Loyalton and Sattley transfer sites was reported. 16:49 - A vehicle was damaged at Yuba Pass. 17:02 - Snow was blocking HWY 49 at mile marker 45 near the vista point above Sattley. A deputy removed the snow from the roadway. Tuesday, April 11 - 04:38 - On Beckwith Street in Loyalton, a burglary alarm was activated. The responsible party was contacted. 08:26 - A vehicle was abandoned near the Union Flat Campground on HWY 49. CHP stated that the vehicle was removed. 08:39 - There was an accidental 911 call placed from Sierra Brooks in Loyalton. 16:09 - A vehicle was broken down on HWY 49 near Sierraville. 19:34 - On HWY 49, near mile marker 9.75, there was a report of rock in the roadway. CalTrans was notified. 21:32 - On southbound HWY 89 near Bickford Ranch, a vehicle was disabled on the roadway. CHP was notified. Wednesday, April 12 - 00:52 - On NB 395, an individual was cited for an out of county warrant during a traffic stop. 07:14 - There was an unresponsive female on Valhalla Drive in Sierra City. 13:02 - An accidental 911 call was received from the Downieville area. 15:04 - Some feline remains were found in Mitchel Canyon off of Long Valley. USFS was notified. 16:05 - A request for assistance was needed due to a broken down ATV in the snow. USFS assisted and reported that the party made it to safety and got a ride by a passerby. Thursday, April 13 - 08:25 - Stolen property was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office. 10:53 - A request for an ambulance was needed in Camptonville for a juvenile that fell over a cliff. 14:02 - On Hill Street in Loyalton, there was a report of financial elder abuse. 15:38 - A dog fight resulted in an assault in Sierra City on Brady Drive. Friday, April 14 - 07:32 - A bovine was busted wandering on Smithneck in Loyalton. The bovine was apprehended and placed out to pasture. 13:10 - A caller reported a suspicious van in Downieville. 13:27 - There was a possible probation violation in Foresthill. 14:35 - Someone was making threats off of Barrango Lane in Pike City. 14:41 - A vehicle was repossessed in Loyalton off of Haggard Way. 16:28 - A property check was performed on Main Street in Loyalton. 18:20 - The snowmobile accident near Sierra City resulted in an individual being injured. Fire, Ambulance, Sheriff’s Office, CHP and aircraft all assisted with retrieving the individual who, ultimately, was transported to a hospital. 19:13 - Automobiles injured one another during a meeting at A24 and Poole Lane in Loyalton. 22:10 - When the Truckee Meadows Fire Dept. went to the scene of a “possible” fire, they discovered the blaze was a controlled, legal burn. Saturday, April 15 - 09:52 - A father passed away during the night on Green Gulch Road in Loyalton. 11:59 - The report of a lost firearm was cleared after the Sheriff’s Office recovered the firearm. 12:53 - A motorcycle crashed on Depot Hill with unknown injuries. The motorcycle had been stolen and the incident was transferred to CHP. 16:20 - A brushfire occurred in Sierraville off of South Lincoln. 19:08 - There was a water leak on Belle Street in Downieville. The Sheriff’s Office was able to contact the Water District to handle the issue. 21:06 - Near Sattley, there was a report of a possible drunk drive. The driver almost ran another vehicle off the roadway. Deputies searched for the vehicle but were unable to locate it. 21:18 - A caller had questions regarding a construction crew inconveniencing their property. Sunday, April 16 - 00:32 - Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested at Church Street in Loyalton. 13:52 - There was a burn pile at the Loyalton transfer site. 17:46 - Some traffic cones were found in the roadway of Second and Main in Loyalton. 18:57 - There was a report of an intoxicated individual driving a vehicle in Sierraville. A deputy found the vehicle and the intoxicated individual was not driving. 19:57 - An ambulance was requested in Alleghany on Main Street. 20:58 - Someone was arrested in Loyalton for drunk in public, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer of the law. 21:54 - There was a rescue on Divide Trail in Downieville.
