Spring Planting
At 7:46 AM (our time) on March 20, the rotation of the earth will bring the equator directly under the rays of the Sun, producing the effect of equal day and night. After that moment, the direct rays of the Sun will migrate northward, until they arrive at the summer solstice in June.
So, with the arrival of spring comes also the arrival of getting out in the yard or garden or deck, and seeing what we can get to grow, so as to beautify our homes and neighborhoods, and provide needed sustenance for certain of our non-human neighbors.
