SIERRA CITY — The Sierra City Harvest Festival, held on Saturday, November 15, in the Community Hall, was once again a big success, thanks to the numerous vendors and Sierra City Fire Auxiliary volunteers. The weather cooperated, providing a beautiful, rain-free day on which locals and out-of-towners were able to enjoy shopping and a fall lunch. There was a wider variety of vendors this year, and the lunch offerings again proved to be a big hit. The event benefited the Sierra City Fire Auxiliary. Many, many thanks to all the vendors and volunteers!

If you missed the Harvest Festival, mark your calendars for Downieville’s annual Holiday on Main to be held on December 6. Another great opportunity for community camaraderie and holiday shopping!
