SIERRA VALLEY — Set against the wide-open skies and golden pastures of California’s largest alpine valley, the 2025 Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail is a one-day celebration of the region’s deep agricultural roots and vibrant creative spirit. This self-guided tour invites visitors to explore working ranches, historic barns, art studios, and cultural landmarks, featuring over 40 local artists, heritage demonstrations like wool spinning and chuckwagon rides, and hands-on experiences such as farm-to-fabric indigo dyeing and a yak petting zoo. From tri-tip lunches and prize drawings to an unforgettable barn dance with live music and line dancing, the event offers a rich and authentic taste of Sierra Valley life.

Includes full access to all trail sites and entry to the Closing Barn Dance Dinner at The Lost Marbles Ranch in Beckwourth, from 4:00–8:00 PM.
Trailheads open at 8:00 AM — Pick up wristbands, maps, merchandise, and explore local vendors - (Sierraville School, Sierra Valley Grange, Sierra Valley Preserve)
Sites welcome visitors from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
