SIERRA COUNTY — The Board of Directors of the Sierra County Arts Council welcomes our new Executive Director, Amber Baca-Sainsbury. Amber is a Sierra County native and a dedicated local artist with deep roots in the area. She has served on the board of the Sierra County Arts Council for over 15 years, playing an active role in building community programming through the arts. She has demonstrated her commitment to arts education by playing an integral role in bringing art programs into local schools.
As a longtime volunteer, Amber has consistently demonstrated her dedication to building and enriching the art community here in Sierra County. She is dedicated to continuing ongoing programs and to advancing the Council’s mission with creativity and collaboration.
The Board of Directors recognizes with deep gratitude the significant contributions, excellent and meaningful work accomplished over the last 15 years by our outgoing Executive Director, BJ Jordan.
