GRAEAGLE — It is with mixed emotions that Terry Moore, owner of the Coyote Bar & Grill has announced the closure of his restaurant. Moore established the Southwestern-inspired restaurant, which was a favorite among locals and tourists alike in Graeagle, over 28 years ago.

With final seating and last call at the bar, the restaurant closed its doors on Saturday, April 20, 2024. While Terry had intended to be open for operation this season, in a statement posted on the Coyote Bar & Grill Facebook page, Terry addressed the abrupt closing, stating new ownership of the River Pines Resort and career opportunities led to the decision.

“I wish to thank everyone, especially my incredible team, for helping make Coyote Bar & Grill Restaurant truly a special place. I also wish to thank my guests and friends for their many years of support – I am truly grateful,” says Moore.

Graeagle has many highly regarded restaurants, but Coyote Bar & Grill was unique. The restaurant was known for its bold flavors, tequila bar featuring over 70 premium brands, the “wall of flame” (a rack of 50 hot sauces from around the world), and an eclectic and traditional mix of flavors with a unique twist on Southwestern cuisine.

Terry further expressed, “I’ve had over two decades at Coyote Bar & Grill, met so many incredible people, enjoyed creating and sharing my cuisine and working with talented staff.” Terry wishes all the best to his clients and business relationships as he moves forward to new adventures.
