The Clampers weren't the only "gig" in town last Saturday. After a two year hiatus due to COVID, members of Naomi Parlor #36, Native Daughters of the Golden West held their 17th Ice Cream Social. Eight delicious ice cream entries were sampled and voted on by the attendees, who also enjoyed home-made cookies and won great raffle prizes. At the end of the day, there were four winners: Tieing for third place were cousins Tessa & Rudy Jackson and Sarah Folsom. Tessa, and son Rudy, made Lucky Charms Ice Cream and Sarah served her Macadamia Nut Crunch. Second place went to Native Son, Mike Galan, who brought back his Triple Choclate Caramel Double Cream Crunch. Taking first place honors was Shawn McFetridge with her fresh and delightful Summer Peach. Save the date for next year's epicurean event on August 26th, 2023!
