Ice Cream Social is a Treat

The people who helped make the Ice Cream Social a successful event, pictured left to right, were Suzy Melim, Karen Galan, Mike Galan, April Rhune, Ingrid Larsen, Joan Nolan, Rudy & Tessa Jackson, Sarah Folsom, Earlene Folsom, B.J. Jordan, and Shawn McFetridge .The Clampers weren't the only "gig" in town last Saturday. After a two year hiatus due to COVID, members of Naomi Parlor #36, Native Daughters of the Golden West held their 17th Ice Cream Social. Eight delicious ice cream entries were sampled and voted on by the attendees, who also enjoyed home-made cookies and won great raffle prizes.At the end of the day, there were four winners: Tieing for third place were cousins Tessa & Rudy Jackson and Sarah Folsom. Tessa, and son Rudy, made Lucky Charms Ice Cream and Sarah served her Macadamia Nut Crunch.
