Kids being ushered to meet Santa after the tree lightingDOWNIEVILLE — The town’s Christmas Tree, located next to the gazebo in Gold Rush Park, was lit by Santa during an event held by the Lions Club on December 1st. The night began with caroling led by Frank Lang and Paul Douville, in which much of the crowd participated.
