With Labor Day on the immediate horizon, the time when campaigning traditionally begins during election years, we contacted county election officials in both Plumas and Sierra counties to create the following list of people who are going to be on our ballots in November.
- City of Loyalton Council Member (4-year Term): Nancy Rogers, Sarah Jackson (incumbent) and Dorie Gayner;
- City of Loyalton Council Member (2-year Term): Jerry Gerow;
- City of Loyalton City Clerk (2-year term): Kathy LeBlanc (incumbent), William Mertton;
Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District (Trustee Area 2): Annie Tipton and Adrienne Anila; - Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District (Trustee Area 4): Kelly Champion and Jesse Whitley;
- Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District (Trustee Area 5): Dorie Gayner;
- Sierra City Fire District: Dale Teubert (incumbent) and Richard Small (incumbent);
- Alleghany County Water District: Robbin DeWeese (incumbent) and Tobyn Mehrmann (incumbent);
- Plumas Unified School District - Trustee Area 5 (4-year term, vote for one): Leslie Edlund (incumbent) and Jacob "Coby" Hakalir;
- City Council - City of Portola (4-year term, vote for two): Phillip M. Oels (incumbent), Bill Powers (incumbent), and Leah L. Turner.
In Plumas County, the ballot will also include, Bond Measure B concerning the Seneca Healthcare District.
