Mike McGuire Running for Congress

State Senator Mike McGuire is running for Congress against Rep. Doug LaMalfa.

His long experience in public service began by successfully running in every race for School Board at age 19, City Council, County Supervisor, and State Senate.

He met informally with a group of neighbors in Sierra City on December 1 to understand the concerns facing residents in our rural county.

Everyone was Impressed with his knowledge of and outstanding work in rural areas and political experience. He will represent us well.

Senator McGuire’s next stop of the day was Quincy, and he’ll be back to learn more.
