We welcome reports of possible errors in The Mountain Messenger.

Request a correction

Email team@themountainmessenger.org or call 530-289-3262. Include the article’s title or link, publication date, the information you believe is incorrect, and any supporting details.

How we handle corrections

We review requests against our reporting and the available evidence. When we confirm an error, we correct it promptly.

For substantive factual errors online, we update the article and add a dated correction note explaining the change. Errors in print are corrected in the next available issue.

Minor spelling or grammar fixes that do not change the meaning may be made without a correction note.
