A “Santa Train” prepares to leave the station at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum
PORTOLA — The Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola will host “Santa Trains” starting Saturday, December 7th at 5 PM. Decorated with Christmas lights, the event offers an opportunity to meet Santa and enjoy special exhibits, free cookies, and hot drinks. After December 7th, Santa Trains will depart at 5 PM on Fridays and Saturdays only on the weekends of December 13th and 20th. The Museum itself will be open from 4 PM until 9 PM.
Admission is $15 per carload, which can be reduced to $10 with the donation of three cans of non-perishable food for the local EPCAN Food Bank. More information can be found at santa.wplives.org or by calling (530) 832-4131.
