14:41 - Notification of a controlled burn at Aspen Meadows.

19:07 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

Wednesday, January 21

10:28 - A deputy was unable to complete civil service due to a locked gate.

10:39 - Civil service successfully served in Sierra City.

16:21 - Report of someone burning in a barrel in Sierra City. Deputies responded and “corrected the issue.”

21:31 - Possible suicidal subject in Plumas County. The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office was notified.

22:44 - Assistance requested to find a place to stay for the night in Yuba County. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office was notified.

Thursday, January 22

07:58 - The Forest Service conducted a controlled burn in Calpine.

08:23 - The Road Department conducted a burn at the Sattley Transfer Station.

09:59 - Request for civil service in Downieville.

10:18 - The Loyalton Transfer Station conducted a controlled burn.

16:44 - A juvenile in Loyalton accidentally dialed 9-1-1.

17:04 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from Sierra City.

Friday, January 23

02:28 - Ambulance requested in Calpine.

08:43 - Silent alarm activation in Loyalton. Deputies found the building to be secure.

09:11 - Downieville School conducted a fire drill.

11:26 - Report of a drunk individual disturbing neighbors in Loyalton. The person was later seen with facial injuries and was transported to the hospital.

19:00 - Report that a vehicle had hit a deer, and an occupant was requesting an ambulance. The incident was taken over by Susanville Highway Patrol with help from Loyalton Fire.

21:17 - Lift assist requested in Loyalton.

22:05 - Family argument in Loyalton. Deputies responded and found that no crime had occurred, but the parties were separated for the night.

Saturday, January 24

00:28 - A traffic stop was conducted on Highway 395, during which consent to a vehicle search was given. The driver was issued multiple citations for traffic violations and controlled substance violations.

08:35 - Wolf attack on a pregnant ewe near Beckwourth.

16:24 - Report of a possible intruder at a Calpine residence. A deputy spoke with the caller and determined the concern was related to ongoing mental health challenges the resident was experiencing, not an actual break-in.

16:41 - Traffic stop conducted on Highway 395. The driver had multiple warrants in another county for which he was cited. The vehicle was towed.

19:48 - Report of a family member with a firearm trying to break into a residence in Sierraville. The subject left before deputies arrived, but was later located driving a vehicle. Deputies confiscated the firearm due to intoxication, and Susanville Highway Patrol took control for DUI processing. It was determined that no crime had occurred at the residence.

21:51 - Someone was arrested in Sierraville for driving under the influence.

22:10 - Report of a possible fire near Calpine. It was determined that the Tahoe Forest Service was conducting a controlled burn in the area.

Sunday, January 25

11:50 - Report of mental health issues in Calpine.

13:07 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

15:53 - Someone was stuck in the snow near La Porte. La Porte Fire handled the rescue.

16:07 - Mental health issue in Calpine.
