18:30 - Ballots were transported from Loyalton to Downieville by the Sheriff’s Office.

04:55 - Downed power line on the A23 road near Calpine. Sierra County Fire, the Forest Service, and Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric responded.

07:45 - Large tree down and blocking Gold Lake Highway near Gold Lake. The Sierra County Road Department was notified.

09:03 - Controlled burn in Loyalton.

10:12 - The Probation Department conducted checks in Sierraville.

17:32 - Large boulder on Highway 89 near Jackson Meadows. Susanville Highway Patrol was notified.

08:36 - Civil service successfully carried out by a deputy in Loyalton.

08:38 - A civil document was served in Loyalton.

09:10 - A cat was returned to its owner in Loyalton after someone had accidentally taken it in, believing it to be a stray.

10:10 - “Report of two German Shepherds aggressively approaching a resident walking her dogs” in Loyalton. No injuries occurred, and the dogs were gone when the Sheriff’s Office arrived.

11:26 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

14:25 - Juvenile problem at the Loyalton High School.

01:14 - A caller wanted to follow up on an earlier incident occurring in the Lakes Basin area. A deputy made contact with the caller.

11:31 - A dog bite in Loyalton caused a minor injury. No criminal charges were warranted. The dog had a current rabies vaccination and was quarantined.

13:38 - Possible restraining order violation in Goodyears Bar.

13:49 - Possible scam involving private investors attempting to purchase property in Sierra County.

14:45 - Someone was cited for a traffic violation in Loyalton.

16:16 - Coroner’s case in the Calpine area.

17:09 - Juvenile problem in Loyalton.

18:28 - Report of possible illegal burning in Sierraville, but Tahoe Forest’s fire restrictions had been terminated.

18:52 - Ambulance requested in Sierra Brooks.

21:48 - Deputies were unable to locate a speeding vehicle near the Plumas County line.

04:40 - Someone wanted a report filed for someone punching someone else in Grass Valley. The information was forwarded to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.

12:06 - Report of gunfire near Loyalton. It was found to be occurring on public land away from residences and was being conducted safely.

12:33 - Someone was arrested in Alleghany for domestic violence and resisting arrest.

14:37 - Report of a tree downed on a power line in Alleghany. It was found to be only on a phone line.

17:25 - A deputy conducted a traffic stop and searched the vehicle in Loyalton.

19:57 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

10:10 - Coroner’s case in Downieville.
