11:31 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
12:58 - Possible theft at a mining claim in the Pike area. A deputy made contact with the reporting party.

Thursday, March 5
11:15 - Report of a suspicious vehicle near the Loyalton preschool. It was seen leaving the area shortly after the report was made.
11:58 - Reported theft of personal items in Sierra City, but the items were soon found by the reporting party’s significant other.
15:42 - Someone texted 9-1-1 after getting a snowmobile stuck near Webber Lake. The reporting party later advised that a Sheriff’s Office response would not be needed.
17:27 - Accidental fire alarm activation in Loyalton.
21:38 - Ambulance requested in Sierraville.
Friday, March 6
11:55 - Report of a suicidal subject in Pike. The Behavioral Health department contacted the subject and family members, but did not respond due to the subject being uncooperative.
13:43 - Three loose dogs aggressively approached several people in the Loyalton area. The owner was cited for having dogs at large and having an unlicensed dog. The owner was also given a vicious dog notification.
15:09 - Report of a possible stolen vehicle now in Southern California. A legal sale of the vehicle was found.
18:43 - Report of a landlord vs. tenant issue between family members in Pike. A deputy made contact with the involved parties and explained the civil process for resolving the issue. Parties agreed to be civil with each other.
Saturday, March 7
01:16 - Report of a possible mental health issue with someone in Portola. The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
02:11 - Report of a Nevada County Jail inmate needing to go to the hospital. The inmate was later discharged back to jail.
07:28 - A deputy removed debris from Highway 49 near Downieville.
07:32 - More debris removed from the highway.
16:40 - Report of a possible vegetation fire near Gold Lake. Plumas Forest Service investigated and found that a tree stump was on fire and that there was no threat of spread due to snow.
20:05 - Report of a reckless driver between Sattley and Sierraville. A deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
20:51 - Traffic stop conducted at the agricultural station on Highway 395. The vehicle was searched with consent, and occupants were cited for drug possession.
Sunday, March 8
14:41 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from Sierra Brooks.
15:05 - Report of a motorcycle crash on Highway 49 near Sattley.
18:46 - Coroner’s case in Downieville.
19:58 - Two vehicles were stuck in the snow near Stampede Reservoir. 775 Offroad Recovery responded to assist the drivers and free the vehicles.
