Monday, March 23

07:45 - Wolf sighting reported near Sierra Brooks.
13:44 - Report of elder abuse in Loyalton.
14:33 - Report of an unattended burn pile in the Pike area.
17:04 - Information provided to the Sheriff’s Office.
17:26 - Notification of a vegetation fire in Clio.
18:52 - Someone was arrested in Sattley on a Sierra County warrant.
20:50 - Someone was arrested in Downieville on a Yuba County warrant and on local charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and disobeying a court order.
Tuesday, March 24
05:00 - Accidental commercial burglary alarm activation in Loyalton.
09:26 - Report of illegal campers in the Verdi area.
11:59 - Report of fraud in Sierraville.
12:07 - Report of suspected child abuse in Loyalton.
13:47 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
14:37 - Ambulance requested in Sierra City.
Wednesday, March 25
11:04 - Possible stalking in Loyalton.
13:20 - Report of a vehicle accident in Loyalton. A report was taken.
15:02 - Possible burglary in Sierra City occurring in the last couple of months. A deputy made contact with the reporting party.
16:11 - The Sierra County Probation Department attempted to conduct a probation search, but the probationer was not home.
Thursday, March 26
07:11 - A Nevada County Jail inmate was transported for a court date.
13:53 - Someone was transported back to Sierra County after being released from the Nevada County Jail.
15:21 - A deputy successfully served civil paperwork in Verdi.
23:19 - A deputy attempted to assist a resident with finding a possible water leak in Loyalton. The deputy was unable to locate a leak.
Friday, March 27
12:05 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
12:06 - Report of an ill person near the river in Downieville. Emergency personnel were unable to locate the person.
13:17 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from the Pike area.
14:58 - Request for documentation to be written concerning a restraining order violation.
16:06 - Report of a suspicious person screaming in Loyalton. When deputies checked the area later, no such person was found.
16:27 - Report of a water leak requiring water to be shut off in Downieville.
20:39 - Request for a property check in Verdi. Nothing was amiss when a deputy arrived.
Saturday, March 28
10:36 - Report of remains in a duffel bag in the Long Valley area. A deputy determined the remains were those of a small animal and assisted with their burial.
15:38 - Accidental text to 9-1-1 sent by an Apple phone.
22:51 - Request to check on a suspicious vehicle in Loyalton. The request was canceled before deputies arrived.
Sunday, March 29
14:44 - Notification of a controlled burn in Sierra Brooks.
16:24 - A deputy stopped to check on someone having vehicle trouble on the A24 road.
17:44 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
