Monday, April 6

02:56 - Ambulance requested in Calpine.

10:46 - Report of civil issues between a property manager and tenant in Loyalton.

11:00 - A deputy served civil paperwork on someone in Sierra City.

14:47 - Accidental residential burglary alarm activation in Sierraville.

18:50 - Deputies attempted to serve a warrant in Goodyears Bar. The subject could not be found.

Tuesday, April 7

07:21 - Possible assault at Stampede Reservoir.

10:32 - Report of harassment.

10:39 - Report of a possible wildland fire in the Verdi area. It was prescribed burning by the Forest Service.

12:13 - Report of a suspicious person on a mining claim near Indian Valley.

14:45 - Report of a dog bite near Sardine Peak.

18:27 - Possible mental health crisis in Alleghany. A deputy was able to provide resources.

20:57 - Single-vehicle roll-over crash on Highway 89 between Cold Creek Campground and Little Truckee Summit. Medical, fire, and Highway Patrol resources assisted, but the driver was released after refusing medical treatment.

Wednesday, April 8

07:56 - Report of a wolf sighting near Sattley. Fish and Wildlife and local ranchers were notified.

15:32 - Sighting of a wanted person outside of Sierra County. The caller was advised to contact local authorities.

15:38 - Sierra County Behavioral Health handled a possible mental health situation in Loyalton.

19:31 - Ambulance requested in Downieville.

19:58 - Injured mountain biker on Pauley Creek Trail. The Downieville Fire Department, Camptonville Fire Department, Sierra County Sheriff’s Office, and Search and Rescue workers collaborated to carry the biker to an ambulance at Empire Ranch. The patient was flown to the hospital via air ambulance.

22:41 - Report of a neighbor yelling names at the caller in Loyalton. A deputy followed up with the caller.

Thursday, April 9

06:13 - Report of cows beside a road near the Plumas County line. The Susanville Highway Patrol was notified.

06:41 - A Nevada County Jail inmate was transported for a court date.

10:33 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

12:35 - Accidental 9-1-1 dial from Sierra Brooks.

12:38 - Unoccupied vehicle in an embankment on Highway 49 near the western county border. The Sacramento Highway Patrol was notified.

15:57 - Burn at the Sierra City Transfer Station.

19:33 - 9-1-1 call with static on the line. The Sheriff’s Office determined that no response was necessary.

23:35 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

Friday, April 10

00:36 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from Loyalton. The owner of the number was confirmed to be safe and sound.

15:47 - Request for assistance getting unstuck from snow near Webber Lake. A deputy was able to assist.

15:56 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from Loyalton.

16:06 - Court order-related entry.

Saturday, April 11

09:56 - Verbal altercation in Sierraville. The parties involved were separated.

13:50 - 9-1-1 call from Goodyears Bar with static on the line.

21:22 - Report of guests at the Sierraville Hot Springs violating policy and refusing to leave. A deputy responded and trespassed the subjects.

Sunday, April 12

00:33 - Subjects stuck in snow near the Yuba Pass. They were able to get themselves unstuck.

02:01 - A vehicle was flagged down regarding a vehicle on the side of the A23 road near Beckwourth.

08:48 - Controlled burn in the Sierra City area.

11:31 - Commercial burglary alarm activation in Loyalton.

12:55 - Traffic hazard on Highway 49 near the Yuba Pass. The Highway Patrol was notified.

13:22 - The Sheriff’s Office assisted another agency in the Sierra City area.

16:30 - Vehicle stuck in snow on Highway 49 near the Yuba Pass.

16:41 - Units responded to a vehicle crash with injuries at Bassetts.

17:15 - The Sierra City Fire Department found a vehicle crashed on Highway 49. The occupants were uninjured and declined assistance.

18:49 - Notification of a vehicle possibly stuck in snow near Downieville.

19:18 - Report of threatening behavior in the Calpine area. Documentation was written.
