15:58 - Someone was arrested in Washoe County, Nevada, on a Sierra County warrant for disobeying a court order. The person was extradited to the Nevada County Jail.
18:44 - Report of an abandoned vehicle and possible “encampment incident.” It was determined that the incident was in Nevada County, so the caller was informed about applicable laws, and the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
19:13 - Report of someone walking on Highway 49 north of Loyalton and “causing a scene.” Susanville Highway Patrol located the person and provided a ride home. Sierra County Behavioral Health is following up with the individual.

08:25 - Report of a possible wolf kill of a calf on a Sierra Valley ranch. Because of the poor condition of the carcass, the cause of death could not be determined.
09:13 - Sierra City emergency alert and evacuation alarm was accidentally activated by Downieville Fire dispatch, generating numerous calls to the Sheriff’s Office by concerned residents and visitors.
10:45 - Confirmed wolf depredation of a cow on a Sierra Valley ranch. Fish and Wildlife was notified.
10:46 - Possible wolf depredation of a cow near Sattley was found not to be a wolf problem.
