08:35 - Several attacks on calves and a confirmed wolf kill of a calf on a Sierra Valley ranch. DNA evidence was collected, and Fish and Wildlife was notified.
11:47 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
14:36 - Report of a possible downed power line in Loyalton was found to be a downed fiber-optic cable. The cable was removed from the roadway.
16:13 - Request for civil service in the Downieville area was denied due to lack of information.
16:41 - On the afternoon of August 21, a woman in the Loyalton area reports that she encountered what appeared to be a wolf in her backyard. The suspected wolf did not act aggressively, but did not display fear of human presence. The animal walked off after the woman yelled at it. Fish and Wildlife was notified, and a warden conducted an interview.

19:38 - A welfare check was requested for someone with a flat tire near Little Truckee Summit who was awaiting a roadside assistance service. A deputy waited with the driver until assistance arrived.

04:27 - Welfare check requested for family members who were supposed to make it back to Salmon Creek Campground. The family members were found at Bassets Station after they had almost run out of gas, gotten lost, and spent the night at a different campground.

11:56 - Accidental 9-1-1 call from the Sierraville area.
13:55 - Report of someone having a possible mental breakdown at Webber Lake. The subject was located and received assistance from family members.

15:56 - Brush fire at the Sattley Transfer Station. It was quickly contained.
16:30 - Report of a fire in the Dog Valley area, but Truckee Meadows Fire couldn’t find anything.
21:20 - Report of an overdue party that was headed to Sardine Lake Resort. The Sheriff’s Office and the reporting party were eventually able to make contact and arrange a pickup for the overdue party, who had gotten lost.
