11:52 - Report of a bear breaking into an unoccupied house, possibly along Highway 49.
13:06 - Vehicle reported left running on Oxford Mine Road near Downieville.
13:31 - Person reported on someone’s property in Loyalton, possibly without permission.
Thursday, October 1
07:16 - Burglary alarm reported on Stampede Dam Road. The building was secure.
07:42 - Loose cow reported on Smithneck Road near Bear Valley. The owner was contacted and planned to handle it.
09:42 - Vehicle crash reported at the intersection of highways 49 and 89.
10:29 - Bear problem reported on Mountain House Road near Goodyears Bar. Fish and Wildlife was contacted.
13:17 - Possible attempted break-in reported in Loyalton. The person was found to be authorized to be there and was not committing a crime.
21:20 - A person was arrested on multiple outstanding Sierra County warrants at Highway 49 and County Road A23.

10:58 - Large fire reported northeast of Verdi, outside Sierra County.
17:29 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
20:50 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.
21:03 - Bear reported on a patio in Loyalton. It was gone when a deputy arrived, and Fish and Wildlife was notified.
Saturday, October 3
00:06 - Information provided about a helicopter possibly landing near Sierra City.
15:05 - Tree reported blocking the southbound lane of Highway 49 at Rocky Rest Campground. Caltrans was notified.
16:24 - Motorist assisted with turning a vehicle around and getting it back on the road in the Long Valley area near Bordertown.
17:17 - Possible vegetation fire reported along Highway 49 between North Yuba Bridge and Carlton Campground. Downieville firefighters found only campfires in the campgrounds.
17:45 - Family altercation reported in Calpine. A deputy responded.
