09:43 - There was a report of a possible plane crash seven miles from Truckee.

15:18 - An accidental 911 call was placed from somewhere on HWY 395.

15:35 - In Calpine, a local business informed the Sheriff’s Office of their opening.

20:13 - Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was needed on Third Street in Loyalton.

Tuesday, May 16

08:05 - Someone was driving like a bat out of hell in Loyalton.

09:27 - The Loyalton Elementary School has an intruder drill.

11:27 - Medical assistance was needed on Hill Street in Loyalton.

12:13 - There was a juvenile issue in Loyalton.

13:02 - A welfare check took place in Calpine.

13:10 - On East Willow in Sierraville, there was a probation search. Time unknown - A prisoner was transported to Nevada City.

14:28 - A welfare check took place on East Willow in Sierraville.

18:01 - A dog was acting aggressively at the tennis court in Downieville.

19:01 - An hour later in Downieville, a pup was reported as being in distress. A deputy made contact with the pup and the pup’s owner. The pup was safe and sound.

20:28 - Over in Loyalton, some bovines escaped and were found meandering on HWY 49. CHP was notified.

Wednesday, May 17

08:46 - Agency assistance was requested by the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office.

09:24 - There was a civil issue in Loyalton.

12:08 - There was a controlled burn off Peavine Peak Road in Sierraville.

16:03 - A civil standby was needed in Loyalton.

16:49 - Citizen assistance was needed near Sierraville on HWY 89 and Kyburz Flat.

23:23 - Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was needed on Third Street in Loyalton.

Thursday, May 18

08:49 - There was a report of an abandoned vehicle at Union Flat campground.

11:56 - On Beckwith Road in Loyalton, there was a report of a possible restraining order violation. There was no violation found.

13:34 - At Bassetts Station, there was a report of a collision.

16:40 - Near Verdi, the Forest Service was able to assist someone who high centered their vehicle.

21:22 - On Long Valley Road, south of Crystal Peak in the Verdi area, a family needed assistance getting out of the snow. The Sheriff’s Office no longer needed to show due to a family member arriving and helping the family to get out.

Friday, May 19

01:52 - Someone needed assistance getting back up in Loyalton off of Hill Street.

07:40 - On Dog Valley Road in Verdi, a vehicle was partially over an embankment with the driver trapped. The Truckee Meadows Fire Department advised that there were no injuries and no further assistance was needed beyond a tow truck.

10:35 - On Campbell Hot Springs Road in Sierraville, there was a report of theft. A report was taken.

13:01 - Someone in Sierra City accidentally dialed 911.

15:30 - A hit and run incident occurred on River Street in Downieville. CHP was notified.

15:35 - There was a request for civil service in Loyalton.

17:09 - On Poplar Lane in Pike City. there was a report of suspicious phone calls.

17:20 - Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested on Taylor Avenue in Loyalton.

20:38 - Someone was arrested in Vinton for driving under the influence.

21:53 - There was an arrest warrant citation in Beckwourth.

Saturday, May 20

00:35 - From Clark Station, there was a 911 hang up with static on the line.

05:59 - There was a non-injury vehicle accident near Cottonwood campground near Sierraville. CHP handled the incident.

08:10 - Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was needed on First Street in Loyalton.

11:32 - A Sierra County deputy assisted with traffic control and clean up in Camptonville from a multi-vehicle accident in Yuba County.

14:05 - Someone was cited for an outstanding Sierra County warrant near Smithneck Farms in Sierraville.

17:26 - Someone was arrested for a DUI on Dog Valley Road in Verdi.

20:28 - There was a report of a possible stranded individual with two stuck vehicles. Before the Sheriff’s Office could respond, the individual contacted the reporting party to indicate that they were safe and headed home.

Sunday, May 21

10:41 - The dirt bike kids returned to Loyalton.

12:16 - There was a report of a female being harassed in Loyalton.

12:17 - From Goodyears Bar, there was a report of a life jacket floating down the river.

14:24 - An accidental 911 call was placed from Henness Pass Road in Alleghany.

15:12 - There was a traffic hazard on HWY 49 at mile marker 15.

15:39 - There was an accidental 911 call from Austin Way in Verdi.

19:56 - Near Bordertown, a traffic stop turned into a vehicle being towed.
