Paper Appreciation

My wife and I have a cabin near Downieville and visit several times a year. We live in Salem, OR. We are in Downieville several times a year and we subscribe to The Mountain Messenger to keep up on what’s going on in the community. Many years ago, I started my professional life as a weekly newspaper editor, so I have an appreciation for what it takes to keep a newspaper alive. You’re all doing a great job and it’s wonderful that the area has a vibrant local news source. We enjoy reading it each week.
